After a little hiatus, DUST is back to Dig Deep once again in our new house. We haven’t strayed far but we’ve managed to find a “one of kind” diamond in the proverbial rough of Kings Cross. So on May 5^th, 2013, DUST reignites its weekly Sunday night ritual at the boutique oasis known as CRANE.

To quote the CRANE website. “Crane is a stylish, all-encompassing, state-of-the-art Japanese Fusion Bar, Cocktail Lounge & Restaurant." However, what they fail to mention is that it also possesses a spectacular indoor/outdoor courtyard with the décor of a Barcelonan open-air lounge entwined into a traditional tranquil Japanese garden. To top things off they’ve installed a sublime system that provides the space with sounds that ooze warmth with a punch. The perfect complement to the vibe we create at DUST.

To launch our new endeavour we’ve enlisted the services of a fine group of local selectors that include:

This man needs no introduction, Ken is as close to royalty as you can get in the Sydney Underground Music scene. From managing the legendary Reachin’ Records, to being a resident some of the most infamous parties Sydney has thrown like Tweekin’, Sabotage and Love, to Co founding the iconic Mad Racket.. The credentials speak for themselves. Ken has been at the core of good house music for over 20 years and still leads the charge

BAD APPLE DJS

Comprising of DJS Whitecat, Ben Ashton, Moonchild and AboutJack, This crew is without a doubt the busiest bunch of jocks in Sydney right now. When not hosting their own kick ass parties, you’ll find the boys tearing up the clubs and throwing down sets Sydney’s best parties.

THOMAS LISSE
Local Young Gun that's got impeccable taste in music. Tom has been getting starts at SASH and World Bar and after hearing his demo that he gave us it was a no brainer to him on warmup duties. The kid has some class in his sound.

Your resident DUST BUSTERS holding down the fort weekly.. No spiel needed. They are the DUST DICTATORS and will be shaping the sound of DUST as it moves into the future.
